Local commitment, love for ours…
The philosophy of the Cooperative is to work the orange and olive groves of the “Valle de Sóller” in a sustainable manner, help to promote the resources of the “Sierra de Tramuntana”, enhance the marketing of fresh produce and quality for the permanence of crops, conserving the environment and saving resources so that future generations can enjoy them.
Currently, the Cooperative is made up of 293 small farmers from the municipality of Sóller, Fornalutx, Deia and Valldemossa. The Cooperative is part of the “Oli de Mallorca” D.O., “Oliva Mallorquina” D.O. and the “Cítrics ses Marjades” Quality Mark.
Located on the road to Fornalutx, it is an undisputed supplier of our vegetables and fruits.
Located in the heart of the “Vall de Sóller” we find the garden of Miquel Borras, a local producer of organic vegetables and fruit. Its ECO philosophy and slow vegetables is what we are looking for in our restaurant.
With a long seafaring tradition, the Ensenyat family share the tasks. This is the second generation that is dedicated to the family trade. The eldest of the brothers goes out every morning to fish, while the younger one selects and sells the catches from the previous afternoon at the fish market. In this way, we ensure that first thing in the morning we have the product ready for being prepared in our kitchen.
Can Company was born in 1960 in the heart of Mallorca as a result of the work of many generations of a family of Mallorcan farmers. They are the largest producer of animal breed in Mallorca, specifically of the “porc negre mallorquin”(black porc). In addition, they own an artisan factory in Inca where they manufacture various types of high-quality sausages with the most selected meats they produce.
Can Company’s strategic objective is the production of healthy and quality food, through a sustainable management of natural resources. This philosophy fits perfectly with our restaurant line. Furthermore, the quality products that Can Company offers are very hard to beat.
Embotits Raima has inherited the utmost respect for the craft butchery tradition, turning their work into art, since there are many steps to follow to maintain excellence in its products.
From Menorca we get the best steak that we have tasted so far. After a long search for the best beef, it turns out that we have it on the neighboring island, with the endemic breed “Vermella menorquina ECO” providing us directly from Ciutadella. The hazelnut flavour that its fat gives the meat is unique.
Since the 30s of the last century, from generation to generation, the Gómez family has exclusively dedicated themselves to the production, elaboration and curing of products derived from the Iberian pig.
They are located in Guijuelo, the “cradle of Iberian ham”, between the Sierra de Gredos and Béjar, at an altitude of 1000m. A privileged micro-climate, with cold, dry winters and mild summers, allows for a perfect drying and maturation of their products, achieving a high level of quality and consistency.
Agustín and his wife Asunción send us their products directly and we have them for your enjoyment.
“The illusion to create a high-quality beer that somehow recalls the valley where I was born, Sóller.” This restlessness led Guillermo Coll to investigate within the sector of craft beer. In 2008 he started producing on a small scale for his own consumption. His enthusiasm and, above all, the result obtained, led his wife, MªBel Rotger to encourage him to share that special beer that was so successful with friends and family.
The first result was a beer with orange blossom. “The month of May is a very beloved month in the region and the orange trees with their flower fill the entire valley with an incredible scent, so it seemed like a good idea to capture some of its essence in our beers.”
Now they already have 6 different types of beer, which change according to the season of the year. All of them can be tasted at Ca’n Pintxo.
The Macià Batle Wineries have their origin in 1856, when their founder, Macià Batle, began to produce wine from his own vineyards in the town of Biniali.
It was in 1996, when several descendants of Macià Batle together with a group of friends built the new wineries, located in Santa María del Camí.
Spending a day visiting the vineyards is highly recommended. The treatment is familiar and the passion for their wines is transmitted to their clients and friends.
We have close relationship with this winery and thanks to this we can offer editions and products of a very limited and exclusive production, which you will not be able to find in another restaurant or place on the island.
